Cut Color & Style. OMBRE! (sorry I love that word lmao)

So I did the cut, color & ombre the other day! I wish I had better photos  & the weather was super humid so the hair was really frizzy no matter what! =[ She was a definite candidate for the keratin treatment! She was awesome & she loved her hair! I love doing ombre its so much fun. =)

Makeup for Charity

I was presented with the opportunity to donate my time for a fashion show. It was a charity event for the Jordan River Village In Middle East that seeks to enrich the lives of Jewish, Muslim & Christian children ages 9-18 in the region suffering life-threatening conditions. So I was ver happy to donate my time. I only had time to do two models for makeup but the results came out fabulous! I wish I could have taken more pictures of the make up I did myself. The photos of the girls on the run way I do not own the credits too. They were taken by several photographers. I would name them but I'm unsure due to taking them off facebook.  But heres the photos that I found & some that I took. =]

Krystles new hair!

As usual Krystle always wants to change it up! So I figured lets do a pmshine which is a Paul Mitchell glaze. A pmshine is a Demi permanent dye that is extremely healthy for your hair! It strengthens the hair while giving it tons of shine! What's also great about this color is that it gradually fades as you was it. You do not see a line of demarcation like you do with regular permanent hair color. As for the purple we did a dark purple fading into a light purple. The color looks so much nicer in person its more vibrant! Here's some photos:)

John Freida Red Shampoo

I was walking around my pharmacy a couple weeks ago and I was just browsing the shampoo & conditioner section looking for a "Red Shampoo" since Paul Mitchell does not make one. They only have color protect and I wanted to try something new & something that was made to help keep red hair. So, I saw John Freida Red shampoo and I thought hmm I usually don't like drugstore brand shampoo's because they build your hair up with wax & silicone and weigh it down. But for $7.49 I figured why not? So I used it and I was actually impressed that with in the first wash it really lathered up and cleaned my hair. I didn't even have to do a second shampoo! However after a few weeks of using it my hair did build up with alot of product so today I had to use Paul Mitchell Shampoo Two a clarifying cleanser to get all that build up out. Clarifying cleanser is not something you want to use on your red hair because it washes the color out faster but I have extremely oily hair so anything that weighs my hair down I cant stand. I did not purchase the conditioner but I definitely will next time. I highly recommend this product. My hair is still red and its been about 3 weeks since I colored it which is great.
